Let’s figure out how to make your family more cohesive and empowered than ever before. We at Connect have a variety of options to support you on your parenting journey.
Parent Coaching Options
Dr Rachel Hughes integrates over a decade of experience as a mental health therapist to take parent coaching to the next level of effectiveness. Together, you’ll devise an intervention plan tailored to your family’s needs, empowering you to foster a nurturing environment where your child can flourish. Let’s collaborate to create a more enjoyable atmosphere for everyone in your family and make your life as a parent even more fulfilling.
Individual, Family, and Group Therapy Options
If you or your child or teen want to work on more person-specific challenges, therapy can be a wonderful option to get compassionate support. Dr Rachel is a marriage and family therapist in Washington and a therapeutic game master and frequently works with card games, board games, and other play activities in session with youth and families to offer an alternative enjoyable way to making progress towards your therapy goals. She uses a foundational General Systems Theory model, strategic therapy to shift the stick-in-the-mud feeling of difficult patterns or interactions in your family and pair this with the value-based interventions of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you confidently navigate forward for future situations beyond our therapeutic relationship.
Insurance Information: Our practice is currently out-of-network practice with most insurances in Washington State. We provide monthly superbills so that you can seek reimbursement with your insurance.
Fees for Sessions: Currently, all 45-55 minute services are charged at a rate of $250. We do offer an income-driven sliding scale upon request.
Online Asynchronous Learning Options at ConnectEdU
Finally, our virtual classes allow parents to engage with the material on their own time and at their own pace. This flexibility makes it easier for parents to gain valuable insights and strategies for supporting their neurodiverse and gender minority children while balancing their other responsibilities. The courses are designed to foster understanding, promote healthy relationships, and provide practical guidance for navigating the unique challenges these families may face.
